The Story

My name is Vanessa Bell and I am the Founder of Shop Fearless.  As a Latina, I’ve often struggled to find fashion that fits my style.  The spectrum of trends geared toward women of color extends from overly conservative to quite risqué, with very little in between.  And the circumstances are even more concerning for young women entering adulthood.

After my 14 year-old niece asked me for a gift card to a popular store known for its seductive appeal, I knew something had to change.  We simply need more tastefully-designed options!  Not just for girls, but women of any and every age, shape, size, or background.  We need classier possibilities for looking glam; ones that genuinely speak to and about our inner self.

I decided to take matters into my own hands.  I launched Shop Fearless to bridge these existing gaps with diversity in fabulous clothing.  After being involved in a female empowerment group called Ladies in Power (LIP), I know what confidence can do for a gal’s looks.  And that’s exactly what this brand will achieve.

I firmly believe that fashion should not define us, but rather that it is our individual personalities that define a style.  I can’t think of a better way to own who you are and to put it on display with grace and poise.  So, I’m on a mission to make this a reality for more females.  Let’s be fearless together!
